I enjoyed this book. It was full of funny, ironic and quirky moments, but the message was profound nonetheless.
Lewis annoyed me most of the time - so programmed despite making this radical move.
The part where Edith destroyed the plants was painful to read. Was her death at the end of this act a metaphor for the death of beauty, tradition, (and of course books)?
